    FAQs

Why should I choose Foundations ABA over all of the other ABA providers?

Foundations ABA is a small, locally owned and operated company. There are benefits to sending your child to a smaller company, such as personal care and thorough oversight by credentialed personnel. Sometimes things can be lost or overlooked in the chaos of a bigger company, resulting in a lesser quality of services. Our goal at Foundations ABA is to stay smaller in order to focus on our clients and provide quality services from start to finish.

    What ages do you serve?

We serve children between 2 to 7 years of age.

    What are your hours?

We operate between the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm. Depending on what clinical prescription is recommended by the BCBA during the inital ABA evaluation, your child’s therapy hours will fall somewhere between those times.

Do I get to pick if my child recieves services in the clinic or in the home?

Not exactly. The BCBA makes the recommendation of where services take place based off several factors, including age, the child’s skill deficits, and the overall goals the family wants to pursue.

The clinic was created for children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years of age. The toys and equipment are not appropriate or functional for children 7 years and older so it is most likely that in-home services will be recommended for children over the age of 7.

Do you provide in-home services all over Hendricks County?

Unfortunately we do not provide in-home services across Hendricks County. We can serve families who live within a 15-minute radius of the clinic (Prestwick Pointe).

Does someone need to be at home if my child recieves in-home services?

Yes! Someone 18-years of age or older needs to be at home while the child is recieving services. This can be a parent, guardian, grandparent, aunt or uncle, older sibling, or neighbor.

    What insurances do you take?

We currently accept traditional Indiana Medicaid, Anthem, United Healthcare/Optum, MHS/Cenpatico, MDWise, and Aetna. We are in the process of credentialing with several other insurances and will update our website with further information when those contracts are solidified.

We plan to continue to apply to additional insurance companies in order to better serve the families of Hendricks county.

What is the first step to starting services?

Send an email to [email protected] with your name, your child’s name and age, and where you are located. Stephanie will respond with the next steps from there.

Can my PCP fax you a referral?

Yes! Have your PCP send a referral to 317-754-2877.
